Tid til ro – Mit Univers
Tid til ro organises yoga and mindfulness holidays. Mit Univers ("My Universe") is the company's members' portal, where guests relive the trip and share memories long after they have come home.
I built the portal from scratch as a custom Next.js app and keep developing it together with the client.
What the portal does
- Galleries from the trips: Every trip becomes a gallery, curated by the tour leader and enriched with the guests' own photos via a QR link. With likes, comments and a swipeable lightbox.
- Upload without waiting: Photos are compressed in the browser and start uploading as soon as they are selected. Video is uploaded in chunks, so even large files get through safely.
- Member offers: Campaigns with expiry dates and discount codes that only members can see.
- Community: Profiles with a world map of visited countries, a search for travel companions by destination, groups, recipes and a library.
- Administration: Users, roles with detailed permissions, moderation, destinations, the landing page and messages to members.
- Connected to the newsletter: Members and consents are synced with Omnisend, so permissions only change when the member changes them.
Security and accessibility
Two-factor login and passkeys, data export and account deletion under GDPR, and a focus on WCAG 2.1 AA with keyboard support, contrast and focus indicators.
