PlastNurse – a learning platform for nurses
PlastNurse was developed by Danish nurses and plastic surgeons in collaboration with Zealand University Hospital in Roskilde. The platform is a learning resource for nurses in plastic surgery and a sister site to PlastSurgeon under Nordic Surgery Lab.
What the platform contains
- Handbook: Modules on plastic surgery nursing, such as pre- and postoperative care and breast reconstruction.
- Video guides: Step-by-step walkthroughs of procedures.
- Quizzes: Courses and quizzes sharing their setup with PlastSurgeon.
- Case upload: Nurses can submit cases with a patient consent form in Danish and English.
- Dictionary: Look-ups of plastic surgery terminology.
My work
PlastNurse runs on WordPress with Tutor LMS. I handle the ongoing development: consent forms for the case upload in Danish and English, more visible partner logos, a new browser icon and front-page copy adapted for conferences.
