Is Elementor still relevant in 2024?
Yes, Elementor is still the most widely used page builder, with millions of active installations. It gets regular updates and has the largest ecosystem of add-ons and templates.
What is the difference between Elementor Free and Pro?
Elementor Free has the basic widgets and features. Pro adds the theme builder, WooCommerce builder, popup builder, form builder, 50+ extra widgets and premium templates. For professional sites, Pro is almost always necessary.
Is Elementor slow?
Elementor can be heavier than newer builders such as Bricks. But with proper optimisation - good hosting, caching and sensible use of widgets - Elementor sites can easily reach good speeds. I always optimise my Elementor sites.
Can I move my site away from Elementor?
Yes, but it takes work. Elementor content is tightly integrated with the builder. I can help with migrating to other builders such as Bricks if speed has become critical for you.
How much does an Elementor website cost?
With me, a smaller Elementor website costs 12,000 DKK plus VAT as a 5-page Starter Website, and larger solutions I build as a complete solution from 20,000 DKK plus VAT. Elementor Pro requires an annual licence, which comes on top, and its price depends on how many sites the licence has to cover. Get in touch for a specific quote.
Should I choose Elementor or Bricks?
It depends on your priorities. Elementor has the largest ecosystem and is the easiest to learn. Bricks is faster and has cleaner code. I am happy to advise based on your specific needs.
