Divi compared with the alternatives
An honest comparison so you can make the right choice
Divi vs. Elementor
Divi has lifetime pricing and unlimited sites. Elementor has more widgets and a bigger add-on ecosystem. Both are easy to use.
Divi vs. Bricks
Bricks is faster with cleaner code. Divi is easier to use and has AI features. Choose Bricks for performance, Divi for ease of use.
Divi vs. Breakdance
Both have lifetime pricing. Breakdance performs better, Divi has a bigger template library and AI.
"We chose Divi because we wanted to be able to edit the site ourselves. Mads built a great design and taught us how to use Divi. Now we update the content ourselves as we go."
Frequently asked questions about Divi
What is Divi?
Divi is an all-in-one WordPress theme and page builder from Elegant Themes. It is one of the oldest and most widely used WordPress themes, with a visual drag & drop editor, thousands of templates and now AI features too.
Is Divi any good in 2024?
Divi is still relevant, with regular updates and new AI features. Newer builders such as Bricks are faster, though. Divi is a good choice if you prioritise ease of use, a large template library and a lifetime licence.
How much does Divi cost?
Divi costs $89/year or $249 for lifetime access. The lifetime licence is popular because it includes all future updates and unlimited use on every site you build.
Is Divi slow?
Divi has historically been known as heavier than some alternatives. Elegant Themes has improved performance considerably, but for sites where speed is critical I often recommend Bricks instead.
Can Divi be used for online shops?
Yes, Divi has WooCommerce modules that let you design product pages, shop archives and checkout visually. It works well for most online shops.
Should I choose Divi or something else?
Divi is a good fit if you want a user-friendly all-in-one solution with lots of templates and AI. If speed is critical, I recommend Bricks. Get in touch for advice based on your needs.
